Zoning Administrator’s report
– Jim Pheifer reported that he had reviewed a Special Land Use Permit for the
Makis for Old Shore Vineyards to run a small private sales winery on
OLD BUSINESS – None.
NEW BUSINESS – Brian Wegener
from Williams and Works presented the Master plan map developed and revised
during the past several meetings. There
was much discussion about whether the commercial designation of the corridor on

enrolled in PA116, and property tax foreclosures to update the Community
profile section of the Master Plan.
Brian Wegener advised that the Planning Commission should develop some
design guidelines particularly for commercial sites to be developed in the
future commercial areas.
Tom Lippert moved, seconded
by Dean Schmaltz to send the draft Master Plan to the Township Board for review
and comment, the next step in the adoption process. Vote – All yes. M. C.
Dean Schmaltz received an
ovation for this meeting marking his 22nd year as a member of the
Baroda Township Planning Commission.
ADJOURNMENT – The meeting was
