Pheifer reported that he has reviewed plans for a Special Use Permit for The
Baroda Church of God. He submitted a
letter to the Planning Commission spelling out several requirements that would
need to be met should a Special Use Permit be approved.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS – The
Planning Commission discussed a draft of an Ordinance for Campgrounds,
including a Recreational Vehicle Condominium Resort. There was much discussion of the points. Several changes were recommended and will be
forwarded to Steven VanSteenhuyse of Langworthy, Strader, Leblanc to make the
requested changes and to answer questions concerning set backs and State
regulations. Wendie is to ask the Twp. Assessor how the lots/ property will be
taxed.
Tom Lippert asked if anything
had been done about the Ornamental Glass sign on the corner of
Wendie Shafer reported that
Brian Wegener from Williams & Works has received about 200 surveys back,
and has compiled the information. He has
not run cross tabs and would like to present his findings at the next Planning
Commission meeting.
NEW BUSINESS – The Planning
Commissioners reviewed site plans provided by Jim Pheifer for the Baroda Church
of God. It was the consensus that more
information is needed, specifically the building height, seating plan, and an
updated building plan drawn in conformance with the 2006 Building Code, in
order to proceed with scheduling a public hearing for a Special Use
Permit.
